Cumbria is known as Shire County in the north west of England. Cumbria county consist of six districts. Cumbria is third largest ceremonial county in England.

Carlisle United are the only professional football team in Cumbria and currently play in League One. Rugby is also very popular sport in West Cumbria. There are several cricket clubs also in Cumbria such as Cumberland County Cricket Club which plays english domestic cricket.
