The British have an expression for something good. It is "over", they say. If ever an example of the concept of the top is the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, wonderful house built by George IV when Prince Regent.
Administration as Regent for his father, George III (who is thought to be insane), George IV had a reputation for gambling, womanizing, and generally live in a style that came to reflect all the time.
In the early 19th century, its architect, John Nash, slapped a cast on a framework for older, more rural and simple, and only went to town, really.
